Written to accompany the documentary film of the same name, directed by William Coldstream (1908-1987) for the GPO Film Unit. Some music in this was film later used in Men of the Alps (Sep-Oct 1936) and Mony a pickle (ca. 1938). It was recorded to the film on 17 May 1935. Kept with the manuscript sources for this work is an example of the 'King's stamp' itself.
