The vocal lines, bar lines and instrument names are written in the hands of the copyists, Imogen Holst and Martin Penny (black ballpoint). The German translations in Act three are probably by Ernst Roth. With rehearsal marks throughout and minor crossings out. In Act 2 there is some smudging of the vocal part but it remains legible.
